Edythe R. Clark, 82, died Friday, August 23, 2002 in Memphis, TN. Services will be held Tuesday, August 27 at Central Baptist Church with entombment to follow at Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.
Memorial may be made to the Central Baptist Church Bldg. Fund, 1647 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
Mrs. Clark was born in Terre Haute, ID. She grew up in Kentucky where she became a schoolteacher. She has resided in Warner Robins since 1951. In Warner Robins she worked in Civil Service where she retired after 39 years. She was a charter member of Central Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She was also a longtime member of a local Toast Mistress Club. Her husband, Voyal O, “V.O.” Clark; and her parents, Ancil and Mary Rogers preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Clark, Tallahassee, FL; Dr. Craig Clark, Memphis, TN; and Randy Clark, Yazoo City, MS; sister, Janet Broyles, Cranks, KY; brother, Earl Rogers, KY; grandchildren, Michelle Clark, Tallahassee, FL, Tiffany, Caitlin, and Christopher Clark, Memphis, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
