Elaine Candis Knott

Elaine Candis Wilburn Knott, 48, entered into rest on Saturday, May 2, 2009.

Ms. Knott was born on August 31, 1960 in Warner Robins. She worked in civil service at Robins Air Force Base in Defense. Her favorite pastimes were bowling, shopping, cooking for family and friends, and arts & crafts. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Her parents, Roy C. Wilburn, Sr., and Billie Ruth Parks Wilburn, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her brothers, Roy Wilburn, Jr., and Charlie Wilburn, both of Warner Robins; sister, Gail Sloan, Winder; niece, Candis Wilburn, Macon; step-children, Eddie and Tabatha Knott; grandson, Caleb Knott; aunts and uncles, Abe and Elsie Rivers, Christine Parks; cousins and other family members, Cindy and Joe Bohannan, Mason and D.J. Barker, Skip and Vicki Pate, Cindy and Dana Martin; Michelle Smith; and numerous other family and close family friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 6, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2009 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Dr. Michael Blizzard officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 5399 Hartley Bridge Road, Macon GA 31216.
