Elaine Habermann, 80, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.
Elaine was born on December 20, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Janet Sacchetti and Donald Roberts. Elaine had a beautiful soul and an even more beautiful smile! She was smart, funny, and a proud wife, mom, grandma, and great-grandma. She fearlessly stood by her family through thick and thin, always offering unconditional love to each member. She lived a life of simple pleasures but deserved so much more. She never met a stranger, often reeling them in closer with her feisty side (that she apparently passed down to many of her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids). There is no doubt that she was incredibly loved and will be forever in our hearts.
Elaine was preceded in death by her first husband, Leon C. Yerdon, father, Donald H. Roberts, and parents Lou and Janet Sacchetti of Watertown, NY.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 46 years, Robert L. Habermann; children, Tina Higgins, Marie Thompson, and Michele Yerdon; grandchildren, Jennifer Calhoun (Jesse), Jason Carter (Jennie), Justin Yerdon (Crystal), Nathaniel Thompson (Charlotte), Christopher Thompson (Britney Phan), and Hunter Higgins (Zoe); great-grandchildren, Chandler Calhoun, Jodi Calhoun (Quincy Green), Cade Calhoun, Brooks Carter, Leon Yerdon, and Barrett Carter.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
