Elbert Roberts, Jr.

Elbert "Buddy" Roberts, Jr., 55, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 28, 2008.

Mr. Roberts was born on February 8, 1953, in Macon County, Georgia. He worked twenty five plus years for Rainey Electric as a contract electrician. A loving man and devoted father to his children, "Buddy" will be missed by all those who knew him. His parents, Mildred and Elbert Roberts, Sr.; brother, Barry Thames; sister, Mona Roberts and father in law, Ed Rainey preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Deanna Rainey Roberts, sons, Adam, Jacob and Jessie, two adopted sons, Clint and Jason; daughters, Shaie Roberts and Kippie Roberts Matthews; grandchildren, Ashley Crabb and Mason Matthews; brother, Leyon (Peggy) Roberts; sisters, Nadine (Tom) Kinney, Rita (Wayne) Dunmon, Lindie Lou (John) Parker and Reneigh Cannon; mother in law, Dorothy Rainey, brothers and sisters in law, Eddie (Terry) Rainey, Mitchell (Gina) Rainey, Joe (Tina) Rainey, Rose (Danny) McDurmon and Casey (Robert) Hargett.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 1, 2008, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on July 2, 2008, in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Buddy Roberts' Children Memorial Fund set up at CB&T Bank, 871 Warren Drive, Warner Robins, GA, 31088.
