She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph John Shaw; parents, Max and Maria Schmidt; and daughter, Geraldine Schmucker.

Survivors include her son in law, Robert Schmucker, Warner Robins; and grandsons, Robert Schmucker, Jr., Wellington, FL; Joseph Schmucker, Warner Robins; and Richard Schmucker, Warner Robins.
