Beth Heidenreich passed away peacefully on Monday, 24 March 2025, surrounded by her family.
She was born into the wonderful family of Arv and Ag Smith on January 17, 1949. Beth was born and raised in Aberdeen, South Dakota, along with siblings Monty and Mary. Following high school, she attended college and worked as a dental hygienist. Then, on a consequential evening in March 1967, Beth met her future husband Wes while cruising main street. They were married on August 9, 1969, and Beth continued working to support the young couple while Wes completed college. In 1971, Beth and Wes became a US Air Force family; Beth was required to physically move away from the family and friends whom she loved dearly, but gained new family members and many exciting experiences along the way. During their 30-year Air Force career, Beth and Wes relocated 16 times before finally settling into their forever home in Warner Robins, Georgia.
Beth and Wes were blessed to have 5 children welcomed into their family: Jim (with Mindy, Paisley, JP, and Liam), Kristy, Joe (with Addams), Jay (with Sophia and Kai), and Kevin (with Jen and Hunter). Unfortunately, Kristy passed away at 26 years of age, but Beth and Wes’ sons and their families continue to brighten the Heidenreich household. Beth is also survived by her sister Mary (Gary Duncan), and several nieces and nephews.
Beth is now gone from our daily lives, but will always remain in our hearts and remembered for the immense happiness and cheerful positivity that she continuously brought into the world and the lives of those around her.
Visitation will be Friday, March 28, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Later, Beth will be laid to rest in Andersonville National Cemetery.
