Elizabeth (Bettie) J. Lendon

Bettie J. Lendon, 77, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 5, 2011.

Mrs. Lendon was born on March 28, 1934 in Neffs, Ohio. Bettie was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her beautiful smile and infectious laugh will be missed by all who knew her. Her husband, Merle Glenn Lendon, son, Merle Kenneth Lendon, and her parents, Thomas Brown and Margaret Claire Shepherd, all preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, David Eugene Lendon (Phyllis), Tupelo, Mississippi; Jeffrey Alan Lendon, Bonaire; Bettie "Cheryl" Fowler (Tony), Yatesville; grandchildren Kristy Lendon (Ira), Kim Pierson (Travis), Laurie Ann Martin (Ricky) Jessica Lendon (Daniel), Alicia Lendon, Jennifer Johnston (Steve), Mindy Lendon, Melissa Lendon, Patty Lendon, Chelle Riddle, Desiree Lendon; great-grandchildren, Christopher and, Jamie Lendon, Kayla, Tucker and Kyle Pierson, Julie Martin, Jacob, Joshua, Jared and Emma Johnston, and Kaylee Miller.

Visitation will be Friday evening, October 7, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Bettie's Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
