Elizabeth "Betty" Schadler Lane

Elizabeth Jane Schadler Lane, 90, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 31, 2016.

Mrs. Lane, born on December 4, 1925 in Freehold, New Jersey, lived in Warner Robins for the past 36 years. Married to the late James William Lane for fifty-eight years, she was a devoted wife and mother who sacrificed everything for her husband and children. Eternally young-at-heart, her warm smile and generous, loving nature will be missed by all those who took the time to truly know her. She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Lane, and parents Arthur Schadler and Carrie Ely Soden Schadler.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved sons, Kenneth E. Lane, Freehold, New Jersey, James W. Lane, Jr. (Karen), New Port Richey, Florida, and Robert Lane of Warner Robins; a brother, William A. Schadler, Freehold, New Jersey; three grandchildren, Kendra, Kerri and James; and one great-grandchild, Gracie. She also leaves behind an extended family whom she loved like her own; sisters-in-law, Letha Godfrey, Margaret Jean Halis, Lou Ann Bell, and Virginia Rose Conley, and brothers-in-law, Roy Daw and J.T. Daw.

Visitation will be Monday, September 5, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in the Chapel of McCullough. Following the service, Mrs. Lane will be laid to rest next to her husband in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
