Christine English, 81, entered into rest on Friday, December 3, 2010.
Mrs. English was born on June 29, 1929 in Montezuma. A homemaker, Christine was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church and the Pete Joyner Sunday School Class. Until 2004, she also was the volunteer Nursery Coordinator and Librarian. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonard A. Milford and Ava Sara Dean Milford, brother, Edward Milford, and sister, Sarah Helen Hilton.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of 65 years, Sam J. English, Bonaire; sons, Joe Wayne English, (Sandy), Celina, Tennessee, Walter Patrick "Pat" English Sr., (Tracy), Cary, North Carolina, Daniel C. English (Wanda), Hawkinsville, Donald R. English (Susan), Pfafftown, North Carolina, and Glenn A. English, Pinnacle, North Carolina; daughter, Carla E. Patat (Ronnie), Bonaire; ten grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Frances M. Davis, Warner Robins; sister-in-law, Emma E. Fullbright, Montezuma; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, December 6, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, the Reverend Sidney Odom officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the American Heart Association, 5962 Zebulon Road, #359, Macon GA 31210, or to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Place, Memphis TN 38105, or to Hospice of Central Georgia, P. O. Box 6523, Macon GA 31208.
