Elizabeth Joy Kitchens

Warner Robins – Elizabeth Joy Kitchens, 70, entered into rest on April 17, 2011. Mrs. Kitchens was born on March 21, 1941 in Hawkinsville, Georgia. She was a devoted homemaker and a longtime member of Andersonville Baptist Church, where she served as church secretary. Her husband, of twenty nine years, Seabron Lewis Kitchens and parents, Grady Harold Calhoun and Joyce Christine Calhoun, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving family, sister Gail Cole (Jim), Texas and Aunt Irene McCrery, Perry; daughters, Sherri Lewis (John), Angela Lincoln (Neal), Warner Robins; Sebie Lee, Glenda Nieto, and Terri Maxwell (Danny), Americus; a son Wayne Kitchens of Twiggs County; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Kary Shoemate officiating. Interment will follow in Andersonville National Cemetery.
