Liz Clap was born in Danbury, Connecticut, and passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020, at the age of 75. She never wanted to be called Mrs. Clap, instead she was lovingly referred to as “Liz” or “Nana”. To say that Liz had a green thumb would be an understatement; she was a fantastic gardener and enjoyed showing off her roses. Liz was a renowned cook and had enough cookbooks to fill a library. Most of all, Liz never met a stranger and was never cheap on hugs. She made everyone feel loved and in turn everyone loved her right back.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Roger Thomas Clap; children, Kenneth Thomas Clap (Maria), Michael Thomas Clap, Lisa Ann Inghram, Susan Moberg (Edward); Sabrina Whisenant (Mark); 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her dogs, Oscar, Sandy, and Apollo.
