Ella Mae Stone

Ella Mae Stone, 85, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Houston Medical Center. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to American Disabled Veterans, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Springs, Kentucky, 41076.

Mrs. Stone was born in Marion, Illinois on July 18, 1920. She was a member of Warner Street Baptist Church, the ABW Mission, KN Club, and the Women’s Hospital Auxiliary all of Marion, Illinois. Her parents, Roy and Lela Rodd; three brothers and two sisters; preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-four years, Bill Stone, Warner Robins; son, John Stone Jr. (Kathy), Warner Robins; brother, Ted Rodd, Illinois; sister, Lenora Rodd, Illinois; grandchildren, David Stone, Missouri; Sarah Parker (Andrew), England; Laura Haselden (Jaime), Atlanta; great-grandchildren, Collin and Seth Parker, England.
