Ms. Ellie Elizabeth Fairfield, 57, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2006. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2006 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street Ste. A, Macon, GA 31201.

Ms. Ellie was born in Baltimore, MD on April 24, 1949 to the late James L. Dukes and Louise Merritt Dukes. She was self-employed as a seamstress.

Survivors include her children, Donna Wire (Ronald), Warner Robins; Beth Miller (Jeremy), Warner Robins; Tom McDuffie (Debbie), Lebanon, IN; Darlene Lankford (Kevin), Centerville, GA; Owen McDuffie, Jr., Lebanon, IN; Dewitt Sanderlin, Warner Robins; Patricia Cantrell, Bonaire; Mark Sanderlin, Lebanon, IN; sisters, Eloise Trowell, Perry; Shelby Kennedy (Freeman), Centerville; Ann Brooks (Chris), Macon; sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
