Elria Ronald Harrell, 72, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 2, 2021, at home with his loving wife by his side.
Ronald was born on June 2, 1948, in Blakely, Georgia. He was the son of Beanie Hodges Harrell and the late Jesse Harrell. A proud veteran, Ronald served in the United States Air Force before working as a Systems Technician at AT&T for 37 years before his retirement. A devoted Christian, Ronald was a longtime member of Centerville Baptist Church and enjoyed attending the Shining Lights Sunday School Class. He also enjoyed working in his yard. Above all, Ronald was a wonderful husband, an amazing father, and a beloved “Paw Paw.”
His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife of 48 years, Jackie Harrell of Warner Robins; children, Leslie Vincent (Barry) of Warner Robins; John Harrell (Kristi) of Elko; grandchildren, Audrey and Reed Vincent, and Rylan and Tucker Harrell; and siblings, Jimmy Harrell and Rita Hoy, both of Warner Robins.
The graveside service celebrating Ronald’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 5, 2021, at Centerville Cemetery with Reverend Don Feezor officiating. For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
