Elsie Mary Schulz

Elsie Mary Schulz, 74, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 9, 2020.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 30, 1946, Elsie was the daughter of the late Ben and Mildred Carver Powell. She happily married her belated husband, Rick Schulz, on February 24, 1968, and they lived life together in a blissful marriage of almost 50 years. Elsie dedicated her life to serving him and raising their children to know and love God. Her love for the Lord was incomparable as she enjoyed being a longtime member of Peachtree Baptist Church and the ladies’ Sunday School class.

Elsie is survived by her loving children, Tina Locher (Philip) and Richard E.J. Schulz (Shannon); grandchildren, Bryson, Savannah, Cole, Carson, and Chas; siblings, Ben Powell, Linda Schultz, and Sherry Jobst; and several other family members.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.
