Emily Gaynelle Craig, 70, entered into rest on Friday, May 18, 2012.
Emily was born on April 18, 1942 in Cullman, Alabama. She retired from S.S. Designs as an embroiderer and was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Centerville. Emily will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her husband, James David Craig, Sr; and parents, John O. Nix and Muriel Middlebrooks Nix, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Sherry Archie (Charles), Hawkinsville, Pattie Albrecht (Skip), Warner Robins, David Craig (Brenda), St. Petersburg, Florida, and Angela Pointer, Lakeland, Florida; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Centerville. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Centerville. Reverend Terry McLeod will officiate. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Auburndale, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to First Baptist Church Missions, 108 Church Street, Centerville, GA 31028.
