Emily Mackraz Cole

Emily Mackraz Cole, 89, entered into rest on Thursday, August 28, 2014.

Emily was born on December 12, 1924 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. She worked in Civil Engineering at Robins Air Force Base. Emily was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In her free time she enjoyed being an active volunteer in the Houston County Community and at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and School.

Her husband, Richard Furman Cole, grandson, Matthew Tucker Cole, and parents, Domit and Shmouny Kanfoush Mackraz, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Coralee Cole Hoffman (Dan) of Chevy Chase Maryland; Richard Furman Cole, II of Warner Robins; Kathleen Cole Bridges of Macon; Mary Emilee Cole (Barry Moody) of Sacramento, California; Rita Cole Benton (Michael) of Macon; Ellen Bentley Smith of Byron; James Daniel Cole (Barbara) of Atlanta; thirteen grandchildren;one great-grandchild; brother, James Mackraz of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and sisters, Jenny Mackraz of Methuen, Massachusetts and Rita Kanfoush of West Palm Beach, Florida.

A Rosary will be Monday, September 1, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to Sacred Heart Catholic School Library, 251 South Davis Drive Warner Robins, GA. 31088.
