Emmett Webster Holt

Emmett Webster Holt, 87, entered into rest on Monday, March 24, 2025.

Emmett was born on June 7, 1937, in Newton, Georgia, to the late Jim Holt and Rossie Daniels Holt. After graduating high school, he proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served as a fire protection specialist. His dedication and expertise led him to a distinguished career in civil service as the Assistant Fire Chief at Robins Air Force Base. After retirement, he channeled his love for the outdoors into owning and operating his own landscaping business, a venture he thoroughly enjoyed. Emmett will be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, Emmett was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Marilyn Schulte Holt.

His memory will forever be treasured by his seven children, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, three sisters, and many other loving family members and friends.

A graveside visitation will be Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Magnolia Park Cemetery. A graveside funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. at Magnolia Park Cemetery, where Emmett will be laid to rest.
