Emmett W. Mills, Sr.

Emmett W. Mills, Sr., 84, entered into rest on Saturday, April 5, 2008.

Mr. Mills was born on June 22, 1923 in Macon. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church. His wife, Dorothy Leverett Mills, daughter, Janice Mills, parents, George Mills and Almeadie Sapp Mills, and brothers, Raymond Mills and Grady Mills all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his son, Emmett Mills, Jr. (Debra), Centerville and daughter, Kay Cole, Byron; grandchildren, DeeDee Moore, Centerville; Richie Mills (Lisa), Centerville; Amber Strawn (Derek), Warner Robins; Wendell Cole, Byron and Wendy Kay Corbett (Jeff), Macon; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Colby Moore, Clay and Zachary Mills, Alexis and Dakota Strawn and Kaitlyn and Austin Cole; and sister Sudie Renfroe, Warner Robins.

Visitation will be Monday, April 6, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on April 8, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Leverett Cemetery.
