On the evening of Sunday, June 24, 2018, Ray Cline, Jr. passed away unexpectedly at The Medical Center of Peach County Navicent Health. He was 60 years old.
Ray was born in Kansas City, Missouri on October 20, 1957. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and worked in Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. Ray enjoyed serving as a volunteer firefighter for Peach County, as well. For fun, he enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, and was an avid Alabama fan. Ray loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Ray Cline, Sr.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Rebecca Cline of Byron; children, Jerry Cline (Jennifer) and Jessica Keane, both of Pensacola, Florida, Daniel Wainwright (Ashley) of Byron, and Kim Wakeland (Justin) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Shylynn and Jr. Cline, Julia and Jack, Lexy Wainwright, and Landon, Maleah, and Natalynn Wakeland; mother, Peggy Cline of Americus; sisters, Dottie McInnis (Ricky) of Warner Robins, Rosie Mullins (Jeff) of Lawrenceville, Beth Morris (Wayne) of Americus; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Casey Joyner.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 27, 2018, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby McLain officiating.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Ray to Celebrate Recovery at Southside Baptist Church, 1040 S. Houston Lake Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Cline’s arrangements.
