Ethel Edith Veal

Ethel Edith Veal, 85, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 29, 2012.

Mrs. Veal was born on March 12, 1927 in Franklin, Georgia. She was of the Baptist faith. Ethel was a loving homemaker and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sibling. Her parents, Wood and Fannie Lou Thaxton, and her son, Wendell Veal, all preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Chesley Veal, Warner Robins; children, Wally Veal (Ruth), Newport News, Virginia; Phyllis White, Warner Robins; granddaughters, Melisa Beavers, Tanya Veal Barber, both of Newport News Virginia; and Kimberly White, Warner Robins; great grandchildren, Tiyhana Veal Barber and Taliya Veal Barber, both of Newport News, Virginia; sisters, Sarah Burris, Hutchensen, Kansas; Lucy Mae Lunsford, Lagrange; and Ruth Steele, Newnan and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday evening, May 31, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2012 in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens located in Forest Park, Georgia.
