Ethel L Chastain

Ethel Chastain, 78, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2005 at the Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, May 20, 2005, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, May 19, 2005 from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Chastain was born in Hayesville, North Carolina. She lived in Kathleen, Georgia since 1965. She enjoyed taking care of her home, spending time with family, and gardening. Her husband, William Ed Chastain, parents, preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughters, Renda J. Conley, New Haven, Connecticut; Betty A. King, Byron, Georgia; Opal M. Ruffule, Utica, New York; Bessie L. Baxter, Warner Robins, Georgia; son, William H. Chastain, Bonaire, Georgia; sister, Ella Mae Harrell, Yorktown, Virginia; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
