Byron, GA – Ethel Leverett, 70, died Monday, February 25, 2002 at the Houston Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Thursday, February 28 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following at Leverett Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Leverett was born in Centerville, GA. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Macon. Her husband, Wiley G. Leverett, Sr., parents, Homer and Lizzie Leverett, and grandson, John John Byrd, Jr. preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Corinne May, Byron, Ann Byrd, Warner Robins, Gail Sewell, Lawrenceville, Judy Simmons, Macon; son, Wiley Leverett, Warner Robins; sisters, Mary Wilkes, Lizella, Hattie Ammons, Byron, Wylene Hester, Warner Robins; brothers, Dewey Leverett, Warner Robins, Benny Leverett, Byron, Bobby Leverett, Warner Robins, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
