Eugene Lamar Mason

Eugene Mason, 78, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 surrounded by his family.

Eugene was born on August 25, 1936 in Macon, Georgia to the late Jack and Doris Hutto Mason. He was a graduate of Crawford County High School and member of the Crawford Masonic Lodge 689 for more than 35 years. Eugene retired from Robins Air Force Base after his 37 year career as a radar technician and a F-15 Aircraft Supervisor. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 53 years, Patty Mason of Lizella; children, Teresa Campbell Gore of Byron, Karen Smith (Randy) and Kevin Mason (Kinsey) of Macon; grandchildren, Jesse and Tyler Campbell, Courtlyn and Kyle Smith; great granddaughter, Madelyn Grace Campbell; and sisters, Maggie Byrd and Jackie Beard both of Warner Robins.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
