Evelyn D. Collins

Warner Robins, GA – Evelyn D. Collins, 72, died Saturday, February 14, 2004 at the Houston Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 17 at the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 Monday evening at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Collins was born in Lyons, Georgia. She retired after 30 years of civil service as an Item Manager at Robins AFB. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Warner Robins. Her husband, Thomas Harvey Collins, Jr. and parents, Earl and Nannie Duckworth preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Thomas Lamar Collins, Milledgeville, William Douglas Collins, Warner Robins, James Ronald Collins, Warner Robins; daughter, Brenda Collins O’Brien, Warner Robins; brothers, Emory Duckworth, Muzella, Bernard Duckworth, Muzella; sisters, Kathlyn Bullock, Haines City, FL, Nell Fordham, Byron, Sandra McLemore, Warner Robins; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
