Evelyn "Faye" Chadwick Dampier

Evelyn “Faye” Chadwick Dampier, age 49, peacefully went to be with the Lord in her sleep on October 25, 2021. She was born on November 7, 1971, in Biloxi, Mississippi, and lived in many wonderful places with her military family, inspiring her love for travel. Faye was a woman with a zest for life, who made friends easily, and loved her family. She was always ready for a road trip and spent most of her free time with friends and family making wonderful memories. Faye was a beautiful person who sadly left this earth too soon, but we know she’s safe in the arms of Jesus.

Faye was a 1990 graduate of Goldsboro High School in Wayne County, NC. She later moved to Byron, Georgia, and proudly earned her Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice Technology from Central Georgia Technical College in 2011. Most recently, Faye was employed as a Civil Servant at Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, Georgia.

She is survived by her parents, Joshua Chadwick, III (Linda) of Leland, NC and Evelyn Exum Chadwick of Fort Valley, GA; her daughters, Lauren Paige Dampier and Jenna Marie Dampier, both of Byron, GA; her sisters, Sudie Chadwick Hill (Brian) and Teresa Ann Green, both of Salisbury, NC; her longtime significant other, Lane Simar; her nephews, Jonah Chadwick Griego (Ally), Noah Chadwick Griego, Samuel Chadwick; and her niece, Marlena Chadwick Griego.

Visitation with Faye’s family will take place at McCullough Funeral Home on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. A funeral service will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Hendrix officiating. Burial will be private.
