Evelyn Parker Nipper

Evelyn Parker Nipper, 83, came to a quiet closure on Thursday, October 19, 2006 after years of battling Alzheimer’s disease without complaint. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, in Rose Lawn Cemetery located in Murfreesboro, TN. Memorials may be given to The Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter 277 M. L. King, Jr. Blvd. Ste. 201 Macon, Georgia 31201.

Mrs. Nipper was born on December 5, 1922 in Brewton, Alabama. A homemaker, she was a member of Oakland Baptist Church for many years. Her husband, John M. Nipper and her parents, Bode Parker and Celia Koon Parker, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her loving children, Lisa and James Britt, Kathleen; John Nipper, Warner Robins; Becky and Doug Peavy, Madison, AL; Dottie and Jerry Howard, Madison, AL; Faye Johnson, Apalachicola, FL; Jeanie and Barton Tate, Monticello, KY; twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
