Felix A. McKay, 74, 216 Choctaw Street, Warner Robins, Georgia passed away on November 29, 2007.
Mr. McKay was born on September 15, 1933 in Pitts, Georgia, to the late Lawrence A. and Mary Jane Crenshaw McKay. He attended public schools in Wilcox County and graduated from Georgia State College, Milledgeville, Georgia. He served his country in the United States Army and retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base with thirty- three years of service.
Mr. McKay was a charter member of Christ United Methodist, and remained active until his death.
Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Geraldine McKay, and her brothers, Edward McKinney (Betty) of Warner Robins, Georgia; Raymond McKinney (Mary Jean), Hoover, Alabama; and sister, Maxine McKinney (Dave Rash), Lynchburg, Virginia; seven nieces and nephews; eleven great nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Shirley McKinney (Malcolm), Abbeville, Georgia; and several cousins.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 1, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, 2007 in Pitts Cemetery, Hwy. 280, Pitts, Georgia, with the Rev. Dave Rash and Rev. Tommy Martin officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Christ United Methodist Church Bldg. Fund, 511 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088, or Serenity Gate Hospice, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry, Georgia 31069.
