Felix Gonzalez

On the morning of Saturday, March 26, 2016, Felix Gonzalez went to be with his Lord in Heaven. He was 59 years old.

Felix was born in Chicago, Illinois, one of eight children to Lucy Rivera and the late Felix Gonzalez, Sr. He was a well-loved sales associate at Wal-Mart for many years who was extremely dedicated to his job. Mr. Gonzalez was also a member of the Warner Robins Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was a Sunday school teacher and played the drums. A loving husband, devoted father, doting grandfather, and wonderful brother and uncle, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

His father, Felix Gonzalez, Sr.; and brother, Anselmo Gonzalez preceded him in death.

Felix forever leaves his memory behind with his wife of 28 years, Edie Gonzalez and children, Jennifer Simmons, and Kristy, Jennifer, and Kobi, all of Warner Robins, and Felix "DJ" Gonzalez of Brandon, Florida; grandchildren, Jordan Simmons, Thomas and Chloe Bowman, and Valentina Wright; mother, Lucy Rivera of Puerto Rico; siblings, Nelson, Moises, and Lucy Gonzalez, Juanita Gonzalez Gerardo, Jesus Gonzalez, and Frank Serrano; and a number of adoring nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 30th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 31st in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Felix will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
