Florence "Fosse" Sanneman

Florence “Fosse” Sanneman, 89, a devoted homemaker and mother of four whose life was centered on family, died peacefully in the early morning hours of Wednesday, November 24, 2021.

Born in Monroe, IN on February 4, 1932, Fosse was the daughter of the late Ora Walter and Anna Marie Spears Walls. She graduated from St. Rose Academy in Vincennes, IN and married Clarence not long after. Fosse quickly and happily settled into their marriage, excited to raise a large family. After her children were on their own, she decided to go to college in Tampa, FL to become a dental assistant. Along with being the best wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Fosse will be remembered as being a devout Catholic woman her entire life. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warner Robins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Clarence Eugene Sanneman; her daughter, Myra Joy Warhola Shaw; her siblings, Daniel Ray, Bob, Bill, Margaret, Anna, Mabel, Fred and Joseph; and her son-in-law, Mark Warhola.

She is survived by her loving children, Deborah Jean Rutskin of Key Colony Beach, FL, Susan Denise Kelly (Bill) of Reston, VA and Douglas August Sanneman of Warner Robins; son-in-law, Steve Shaw; grandchildren, Lara Rutskin Martin, Brendan Kelly, Erin Kelly Sandene, Kathryn Kelly Middleton, Michael Warhola, Martel Warhola Covert, Douglas Sanneman, Jr. and Leslie Sanneman; eleven great-grandchildren; and sister, Carolyn Ridge.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Noon on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Monsignor Fred Nijem and Deacon Jim Hunt officiating. Afterward, Fosse will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Fosse to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 300 S. Davis Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
