Florence Marian Cobb

Florence Marian Cobb, 86, answered the Lord’s call on Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Serenity Gate Hospice at Perry Hospital in Perry, Georgia.

She was the last surviving of six children, born June 9, 1920 to Charles Edward and Fonda Titus. She was educated through the Tulsa School System and a Southern Baptist.

She married Robert (Bob) Augustus Cobb in 1949. She was a strong example of the “Classic American Mom.” She was a true Blue Ribbon Homemaker and loving mother. I count Mom as a source of strength and love to us all.

Faced with the loss of Robert (Bob) A. Cobb in 1984, she still remained strong until the very end. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings and husband.

She is survived by her three children, Albert L. Cobb, Savannah; Kathy (David) George, Perry; Robin A. Cobb, Warner Robins. Her loving imprint remains on all her children and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Bonaventure Cemetery (Greenwich Section) Savannah, GA.
