Florence T. Williams

On the afternoon of Monday, June 10, 2017, Florence Williams went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was 75 years old.

Born in Macon, Georgia on October 2, 1941, Flo was the daughter of the late Kendall P. and Sara Wright Lowe. She grew up in Roberta, Georgia where her parents were both probate judges for many years and graduated from Crawford County High School in 1959. Flo went on to work for Happ Manufacturing for several years before working as a civil servant at Robins Air Force Base. There, she was a secretary in item management for 35 years until her retirement just last year. In Flo's free time, she enjoyed flowers and gardening, and spending time with family. Wesley United Methodist Church on Hartley Bridge Road in Macon was her church home.

She leaves her memory behind with her loving husband of 29 years, Morris G. Williams of Macon; children, James Eric Chatham (Wendi) of Smyrna, Georgia, Steven P. Chatham (Marlene) of Dallas, Georgia, and Amy M. Marshall of Sandersville, Georgia; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Sara Joyner of Lake City, Florida.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 13th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 14th in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Mrs. Williams will be laid to rest in Roberta City Cemetery.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Florence T. Williams to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
