Frances D. Cooley, 79, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2003. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 24, at Central Baptist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cooley was born in Crisp County, Georgia, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, the New Beginnings Sunday School Class, and Central Five-O. Her husbands, Lemuel Denham and George Cooley, and father, Otis Cross, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her mother, Minnie Lou Cross, Perry; daughters, Wynelle Haire of McDonough, Shirley Maeurer of Pineview, and Annie Maine of Warner Robins; 12 siblings, Clarence Cross, Pat House, Marie Shafe, Floyd Cross, James Cross, John Cross, Fred Cross, Ruth Warner, Evelyn Reeves, Betty Pope, Reba Quinones, and Louise Stewart; six grandchildren, Sherri Studdard, Kristi Haire, Janice Maine, Gina Kelsay, Sonja Langston, and Lee Knowles; and ten great grandchildren, Gracie Studdard, Lydia Studdard, Joanna Studdard, Hannah Studdard, Terry Lee Myers, Heather Myers, Sam Kelsay, Tara Langston, Elissa Langston, and Aaron Langston.
