Frances F. Balletto

Frances F. Balletto, 102, entered into rest on Sunday, December 18, 2011.

Mrs. Balletto was born on May 23, 1909 in Sperlonga, Italy. She moved from Florida to Georgia in 2003. She worked as a waitress most of her life in Florida, and later as a caregiver. She enjoyed ceramics, knitting and making homemade blankets. She was an avid cook, specializing in Italian foods. St. Patrick Catholic was her church home. Her parents, Geremia Francesco Campagna and Antonietta Campagna; and husband, Anthony James Balletto, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Jim Balletto (Kathy), Kathleen; brother, Hamlet Campagna, Riveredge, New Jersey; sister, Blanche Campagna Roselli, Brighton, Massachusetts; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of close friends.

A Rosary will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2011, at 6:00 p.m. with visitation at 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at McCullough Funeral Home Chapel, Father Nicholas Mansell officiating. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church Building Fund, 2410 Highway 127, Kathleen GA 31047.
