Frances Faye "Frankie" Wimsett

Frances Faye "Frankie" Wimsett, 75, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 26, 2014.

Frankie was born on June 30, 1938 in Shelby, Mississippi to the late Alexander and Lee Monday Hivley. She graduated from Delta State College in Mississippi with a Bachelor's degree in Music. A resident of Warner Robins since 1968, she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Frankie retired from the Houston County Board of Education where she was a substitute teacher for ten years at Russell Elementary School. A homemaker most of her life, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved animals. Her parents and three siblings preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her sons, Kirk Wimsett (Kimberly), Huntsville, Alabama; Keith Wimsett (Marlena), Marshall, North Carolina; sister, Alice Christopher, Memphis, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Mary Hivley, California; and grandchildren, Jason, Ayla, and Isabelle Wimsett.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors after the service at the funeral home.
