Frank G. “Bo” Ussery, 73, passed away on November 28, 2007.
Mr. Ussery was born on July 9, 1934 in Milan, Georgia. He was a member of First Assembly of God and retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base as an Aircraft Mechanic. He also worked for the DNR as a deputy Conservation Ranger, and a security officer for Statham’s Landing. He was a wholesaler and a mechanic for Jeep vehicles and parts. He operated Country Vittles and Stuff in which area schools, churches, and private parties participated. His parents, Jasper and Clara Ussery; sister, Willie Maude Hines; brother, Jasper Roland “Junior” Ussery, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Ussery, Kathleen; children, Elaine Moncrief (Sammy), Bonaire; Keith Ussery, Kathleen; Julie Faircloth (Blaine), Riverview, MI; Darryl Ussery, Jones County; sisters, Ann Black, Macon; Vera Russell, Columbia, TN; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2007 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on December 1, 2007, at First Assembly of God with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family suggests donations be made to First Assembly of God Building Fund, 6040 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, Georgia 31093 or The Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
