Mr. Frank M. Valasky, Sr., 85, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2007.
Mr. Valasky was born on April 18, 1922 in Canton, Ohio. He was of the Catholic faith.
With loyalty and honor, SMSgt. Valasky retired from the United States Air Force. He was a veteran of World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era. He also retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he worked as an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor. Frank was also proud to be a member of the V.F.W. post # 658. His loving wife, Margie O. Gunnells Valasky, and his parents, Michael and Helen Valasky, all preceded him in death.
He will be missed by his children, Debbie Davis (Gary), Bonaire; JoAnn Nelson (Jimmy), Warner Robins; Peggy Smith, Perry; Frank M. Valasky, Jr. (Vonda), Warner Robins; Chuck Valasky (Gay), Larry Valasky, all of Bonaire; Paul Shealy (Vicki), Warner Robins; twenty two grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Heartland Hospice 115 Arkwright Landing, Macon, GA 31210.
