Franklin Lamar McClintic, 58, entered into rest on Saturday, January 28, 2012.
Mr. McClintic was born on April 7, 1953, in Perry, and was a member of Assembly of God of Haynesville. After retiring from a successful career in the parts industry, he worked for Peach State Towing and Repair for several years. He had a passion for drag racing, NASCAR and Harley's, and he loved shooting. His wife of fifteen years, Mary June Iannuzzi McClintic; and father, Floyd Franklin McClintic, Jr., preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Kiley Dean McClintic Singleton (Charles), Haynesville; step-daughter, Heather Breland, Byron; grandchildren, Hunter, Coner, Austin and Kara; mother, Kathryn Henson McClintic, Haynesville; siblings, Geri Smarr (Johnny), Cobb, Lonnie McClintic (Colleen), Haynesville, and Pam Dean (Earl), Perry; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, January 30, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverends Gene McKinney, Marcus Johnson and Chris Hurt officiating. Burial will be private. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to United Hospice of Cordele, 708 East 16th Avenue, Cordele GA 31015.
