Franklin E. "Frank" Brown

Franklin Eugene “Frank” Brown, 67, passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, July 30, 2023.

Mr. Brown was born on July 15, 1956 in Macon, Georgia to the late Homer and Louise Collins Brown. A defense contractor buyer, he was first employed by McDonnell-Douglass before moving to Boeing where he worked for 25 years. After leaving Boeing, he worked for YKK until his retirement in 2022. Earlier in his life, he maintained his physical fitness by running or enjoying a round of golf. Later on, his hobbies included gardening, reading, and cooking. But the one constant in his life was his devotion to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife of 30 years, Cynthia Brown; his son, Damon Brown (Samantha) of Warner Robins; his daughter, Ashley Grimes (James) of Charleston, South Carolina; his grandchildren, Kylie, Alyssa, and Evan Brown and Robert and Emily Watt; his great-granddaughter, Nadia; his brother, Bobby Brown (Suzanne) of Milledgeville; his sisters, Katherine Wehunt of Macon and Georgia Brown of Marietta; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Visitation with Mr. Brown’s family will be Thursday, August 3, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 4, 2023, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Mr. Brown will be laid to rest in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
