Franklin Masanto, 73, entered into rest on Friday, August 31, 2018.
Franklin was born on October 27, 1944 in St. George, Grenada to the late Louis and Ruby Masanto. He was a generous man that knew the value of hard work even from a young age. Franklin enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, gardening and keeping his family laughing with his story telling and dry humor. Franklin had the best memory and enjoyed numbers and mathematics. An infectious smile, he never met a stranger. Franklin always wanted the best for his family and taught them to strive for that perfection.
His parents and brothers, Winston Masanto and Louis Masanto preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of forty-four years, Ann Rose Masanto; son and daughter in law, Jonathan and Adreen Masanto of Easton, Pennsylvania; son, Luther Masanto of Bighampton, New York; Brother and sister in law, Roland and Garcia Masanto of Long Island, New York; grandchildren, Nathan, Kyle and Chloe Masanto of Easton, Pennsylvania; niece, Danielle Masanto of Canada; sister in laws, Giselle Masanto of Canada, Lorna Green of Charleston, South Carolina, Mary St. John of Warner Robins and Anes Benjamin of Brooklyn, New York and brother in law, George Wallace of Grenada; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and brothers and sisters in Christ.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Franklin E. Masanto to Bonaire First Baptist Church at 142 W. GA Hwy 96, Bonaire, Georgia 31005.
