Frank Weaver, 82, walked into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, August 10, 2015.
Frank was born on December 24, 1932 in Holly Grove, West Virginia, one of two sons to the late Jess and Ellen Rothwell Weaver. A proud Army Veteran having served his country during the Korean War, Frank was an esteemed mechanic retiring from AAMCO after 32 years. He was an avid golfer and loved bowling with the Senior Citizens League, but most of all, he enjoyed time spent with his family. Oakland Baptist was his church home.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brother, Jackie Weaver; and granddaughter, Rene Michelle Shipe Scolaro.
Frank's memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 21 years, Elaine Weaver of Bonaire; daughter, Anita Pierce of Laurel, Maryland; stepdaughters, Debbie Shipe (Clifford) and Barbara Hall, both of Savage, Maryland, and Donna Pierce (Charles) of Westminster, Maryland; grandchildren, Daniel and David Pierce, Brian Shipe (Jennifer), Tara McGee (Chris), Kelly Brown (Wendell), and Corey Shipe (Theresa); and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Following the funeral, Frank will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Frank Weaver to Oakland Baptist Church Building Fund, 1509 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
