Fred Leland Malcolm Sr., 84, of Centerville, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016.
Mr. Malcolm was a graduate of Dublin High School. He had worked as an aircraft electrician and supervisor on RAFB before retirement. He had been a member of NARFE for over 32 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest M. Malcom Sr. and Ida Ogletree Malcom; his siblings Agnes Dooley, Christine Malcom, Hilda Lord, Edith Garnto, Ernest M. Malcom Jr, Robert Malcom and Edwin "Pete" Malcom; his daughter Deborah Malcom and his grandson James Tabor.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Nancy Waller Malcolm, as well as his children Carla Malcom (Gary Schechterle), Vicki Mathia (Steve Meeks), Fred L. Malcom Jr. (Regina) and Mitchell Malcolm (Rebecca); eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering for family and friends to celebrate Fred's life will be held at McCullough Funeral Home in Warner Robins on Saturday, March 26th from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Fred Malcolm, Sr. to his favorite charity, the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank, 4490 Ocmulgee E. Blvd. Macon, Ga 31217.
