Freda Holbert

Freda Holbert, 87, entered into rest Saturday, May 30, 2009.

Mrs. Holbert was born on June 16, 1921 in Mills River, North Carolina. She was an active member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Her husband, Marvin Holbert; parents, Samuel and Polly Davenport; sisters, Georgia Capps, Jessie Orr, Josephine Bedford and brothers, Locke, Clyde, Falcon and Louis Davenport preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Suzanne (Sam) Buzzell, Warner Robins, Polly (Paul) Napoletano, Marengo, Illinois, two grandchildren, Claire and Frank Napoletano, and sister, Wilma Fowler, Hendersonville, North Carolina.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Reverend Harold McKinnish will officiate. Memorials may be given to the Billy Graham Evangelical Association, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, North Carolina, 28201 or to your local hospice organization.
