Gail P. Lombard

Gail P. Lombard, 68, entered into rest on Thursday, April 4, 2013.

Gail was born on October 8, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York. She attended Frazer United Methodist Church where she was active in Sunday School. Gail was a loving homemaker, President of the American Boxer Rescue Association, and a member of the Millbrook Playhouse. Her infectious smile and loving spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Her husband, William Hugh Lombard, and her parents, Patrick and Virginia Oldham Powers, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Patrick "Pat" Lombard (Shannon), Birmingham, Alabama; Kathy Gibbs (Matthew), Warner Robins, Georgia; Christopher "Chris" James Lombard, Jackson, Mississippi; brother, Lynn Duke Powers, Sacramento, California; five grandchildren, Tyler and Abigail Lombard and Mary Beth, Daniel, and Aaron Gibbs.

A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. (CST) on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Frazer United Methodist Church located at 6000 Atlanta, Highway, Montgomery, Alabama 36117. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088 or to the American Boxer Rescue Association, P.O. Box 184, Carmel, Indiana 46082.
