Byron

Gary Edward Dearborn, 55, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

Gary was born on December 14, 1968, in Northampton, Massachusetts. After earning his associate's degree, Gary devoted 15 years of his life to serving at Robins Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic, where he was known for his exceptional skill and work ethic. His attention to detail and unwavering dedication to his craft were qualities that made him respected in the community.

Gary was a natural at building connections, always making friends wherever he went. His generosity of spirit was evident in his willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need, often going above and beyond to help others.

Above all, Gary’s greatest joy was his family. He adored his grandchildren and cherished the time spent with them. In his free time, Gary found solace in the simple pleasures of life: hunting, fishing, and working on or driving motorcycles and cars, known as a "master mechanic" with vehicles. His warm and friendly demeanor made him a joy to be around, and his enthusiasm will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Edward R. Dearborn and wife, Paula Conde Feliciano.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Megan Dearborn (Brad Carroll) of Byron, Georgia; grandchildren, Jackson Carroll and Lillian Carroll, both of Byron, Georgia; mother, Ruth Marie LaValley of Axton, Virginia; along with siblings, Kim Slater (Wayne) of Tennessee, Edward Dearborn, and Bruce Dearborn (Teresa), both of Virginia.
