Gary Lee Martin

Gary Lee Martin, 63, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 27, 2011.

Gary was born on December 30, 1947 in Stuart, Virginia. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He lived and worked in Germany for eleven years, and in the last few years, Gary worked as an Electronic Technician for G and B. Gary loved his family, fishing, woodworking, going to church, and he never met a stranger. His sister, Virginia Dare, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of thirty-three years, Ingrid Martin, Byron; children, Richie Martin and Terry Torrence, both of Martinsville, Virginia; sister, Mary Ann Adams, Ridgeway, Virginia; brother, Larry Martin, Glen Allen, Virginia; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; mother, Alice Martin Gibson, Collinsville, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Ekklesia of the Word. Pastor Joseph Eyler will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be made to Ekklesia of the Word, 1519 Leverett Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
