Geoffrey Matthew "Matt" Rideout

Geoffrey Matthew “Matt” Rideout, 39, passed away surrounded by his beloved family on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, after exceeding all medical expectations of living past 16 years old.

Matt was born on April 10, 1983, in Trier, Germany. He was the son of Jeffrey C. Rideout and Donna Wills Head. Matt graduated in 2005 from Houston County High School. He took great joy in the simplest of things.

Matt was preceded in death by his sister, Kasey Rideout Pedersen; as well as his maternal grandparents, Bernice Davidson Wills and George B. Wills.

His memory will forever be treasured by his mother, Donna Wills Head of Bonaire; father and stepmother, Jeffrey C. and Gwen L. Rideout of Bonaire; siblings, Jennifer Nicole Weaver and Jessica Ann Smith; brother-in-law, James Todd Pedersen of Bonaire; niece and nephews, Layla Marie Pedersen, Gavin Cole Pedersen, Myles Weaver; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Rideout of Kennesaw; and step-grandparents, Roy and Jackie Curl.
