George A. Yalch

December 21, 1919 — November 15, 2003

George A Yalch, 83, died at his residence November 15, 2003 after a lengthy illness. A native of St. Johns, PA, he lived in Middletown, PA for a number of years while employed at Olmstead AFB. He and his family moved to Warner Robins, GA in 1965 when his job was transferred to Robins AFB where he worked until retirement.

Mr. Yalch was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, the Moose Lodge and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Warner Robins.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Grace, Warner Robins; daughter, Renee McCollister; her husband Tracy and their daughter, Faith. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, John and Mary Yalch; his brother, John and sister, Mary.

Visitation will be Sunday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home in Warner Robins. Services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the McCullough Funeral Home Chapel with entombment immediately following at the Magnolia Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
