George B. "Greg" Harless

Greg Harless passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 after a brave 16-year battle with cancer. He was 61 years old.

Greg was born on July 9, 1955 in San Francisco, California, the only child of the late Leonard and B.G. Harless. He graduated from Warner Robins High School and enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served four years with time in Vietnam. Greg was employed at Goodyear in Oklahoma for many years before moving to Warner Robins in 2000. There, he worked at Robins Air Force Base with the Air Crafts Center for 17 years where he was affectionately called the "wood shop man" by his co-workers. Greg's love for wood crafting was shown through many projects that he created for other people.

Greg was a genuine and loving biker dude whose longest loves were Harley's and Doberman Pinchers. He was born with his Harley tattoo and a pony tail in his hair. Greg always wanted to make sure you smiled and always had some sarcastic remark ready. A wild child with his own ways, he spent many a time trying to avoid the laws that he didn't feel were to his liking, like speed limits… those were for the other drivers.

His later years were spent with his love, Nancy Hinds, who took care of him when he couldn't take care of himself. Selfless and compassionate, they were together for six plus years. Greg came to Jesus six years ago at a Celebrate Recovery service at Southside Baptist Church. He regretted not coming to Christ earlier and wanted his friends to remember him by attending the Sunday Service at 9:00 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church in Warner Robins.

In addition to his loving girlfriend, Nancy, Greg is survived by one son, Heath of Oklahoma, and his fifth ex-wife and close friend, Janice Ethridge of Warner Robins.

There will be no funeral or memorial service other than church. Please come out and join us there. This was Greg's request.
