George Davis Dees, native of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021, at the age of 62. He was born to the late Arnold and Georgiann Dees on June 20, 1958 and was a lifelong resident of the Warner Robins area. George was a retired conductor with Norfolk Southern, a career which he enjoyed whole-heartedly. In his free time, he loved the outdoors, working with his hands, bowling, and playing cards, Spades and Hearts, in particular.
George is survived by his loving daughters, Brittany Ray (Daniel) of Sycamore, Georgia, Megan Glaspie (Brian) of Savannah, Georgia and Heather Dees (Shaun) of Poulan, Georgia; grandchildren, Gavin and Amelia Harris; and a number of cousins.
A memorial gathering will take place at McCullough Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. George will be privately laid to rest in Poulan City Cemetery at a later time.
